Our Philosophy

Wright State University takes pride in its diverse student population. We believe that a student's college education is an opportunity to develop academically, vocationally, and personally. Thus our program provides more than the required services. We strive to teach students skills that will assist them as they transition into the world. The department often partners with other academic programs in researching disability-related issues. This focus is the reason that we are ranked as a national leader in accommodating students with disabilities.
